CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

This Clarification Text has been prepared by KEP Dijital Müzecilik ve Turizm İşletmeleri A.Ş. (“KEP”), as the data supervisor within the scope of Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”) and the Communique on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in the Fulfilment of the Clarification Requirement, as follows.

In the ticket sales transactions of the Digital Experience Museums that KEP carries out on its website www.demmuseums.com; It processes Identity Data (name, surname), Contact Data (e-mail address, telephone number, address), Bank Account Information, Customer Transaction Data (product order code, order information, invoice information, date, time, payment method, commercial electronic message status, information shared for comments and/or questions about products), Marketing Data (shopping history information, survey and behavioral data), Transaction Security Information (IP address information, password and password information, cookie records), Legal Transaction Information (information in correspondence with authorized persons, institutions and organizations, information in complaints, lawsuits and execution files), Voice Recording Information in the Call Centre Call (Briefly “Personal Data”); conducting activities in accordance with the legislation, fulfilling contractual obligations, carrying out financial and accounting affairs, monitoring and conducting legal affairs, conducting / supervising business activities and providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations.

The mentioned Personal Data is obtained in written or electronic media based on the legal reason “Performance of the contract, fulfilment of the legal obligation, establishment of the right” specified in Article 5 of the Law, and is processed by recording it completely or partially automatically on the data controller software, physically keeping it, creating a database, performing payment transactions, making lists, filling out documents, writing petitions, filling out forms, and is protected by taking all necessary technical and administrative measures. In case of withdrawal of explicit consent, data processing activity is stopped.

Personal Data is shared with real persons or private legal entities, shareholders, business partners, suppliers, banks, authorized public institutions and organizations, private insurance companies, auditors, contracted service providers, collaborating organizations, limited to the realization of the above-mentioned purposes.

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with this purpose, and the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad, to request information regarding this if it has been processed, to request the correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing of personal data, to request the deletion or destruction of personal data under the conditions stipulated in the Law, and to request notification of these issues to third parties to whom personal data is transferred, to object to the results that arise to your detriment by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems and to request compensation for the damage in case of damage due to the processing of personal data in violation of the Law in accordance with the eleventh article of the Law regarding your personal data processed by KEP. You can always submit your requests to the above-mentioned address or e-mail address of KEP in writing in accordance with the Communique on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Supervisor or by using secure electronic signature, mobile signature or your e-mail address that you have previously notified to KEP and registered in KEP systems.
