(Ephesus Experience Museum)

The Ephesus Experience Museum, located in the Selçuk district of Izmir and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been awarded first place at the Mondo-Dr Awards 2024, which honors prestigious projects in the global exhibition and hospitality industry. Organized for the seventh time by Mondiale Publishing Magazine, which has been published continuously in the UK since 1990, the Mondo-Dr Awards took place on June 12, 2024, in Las Vegas, USA. The award ceremony, aimed at showcasing the best projects and achievements in the exhibition and hospitality sector, focuses particularly on the design of the venues, visitor experience, and technical equipment. The Ephesus Experience Museum from Türkiye was awarded by a panel of independent jury members that recognizes works worldwide. Developed and operated by DEM Museums under the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ephesus Experience Museum, one of the first museums in the world to combine “experience museology” with historical narration, earned its place among the top four in the “Best Museum” category, surpassing museums such as Paris Eternal Mucha and Denmark’s Carl Nielsen and Regan Vest. In the finals, competing against the Aramco VIP Visitor Center in Riyadh, India in Fashion in India, and Dome Des Invalides in Paris, the Ephesus Experience Museum triumphed over its rivals and was named the winner in the “Museums” category at the Mondo-Dr Awards 2024. In 2023, the first place in the same category was won by the “Museum of the Future” in Dubai, a successful example in this field.


Immersive Welt Category / Silver

Atelier Brückner, one of the leading exhibition design earned second place in the “Immersive Welt” category for the Ephesus Experience Museum project. Competing at the Art Directors Club Awards 2024 in Germany, which recognizes creative works from various countries, the museum stood out among many candidates and secured the Silver Award.

Located within the Ancient City of Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ephesus Experience Museum has been honored with the Gold Winner award in the Experiential & Immersive – Hologram / Projection category at the Muse Awards 2024, which celebrates creativity and excellence on a global scale.

By utilizing the latest audio-visual technologies, our museum brings the historical essence of Ephesus to life, earning widespread acclaim worldwide. Developed by DEM Museums under the auspices of the Republic of Türkiye’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ephesus Experience Museum is one of the world’s first experiential museums that combines technology with historical narration, breathing life into history.

(Hagia Sophia History and Experience Museum)

Located in the heart of Istanbul, the Hagia Sophia History and Experience Museum has been honored with two prestigious awards at the MUSE Creative Awards 2024, which recognizes the best projects in creative design, advertising, and digital media worldwide. Established in 2015 by the International Awards Association (IAA) with offices in New York and Malaysia, the MUSE Creative Awards presented the Hagia Sophia History and Experience Museum with the title of “Gold Winner” in the “Experiential & Immersive” category for both “Exhibition Experience” and “Augmented Reality.”

Our museum, which brings history and culture to life through modern technology, offers visitors a 30-minute journey through 13 distinct halls, reviving the 1,700-year history of Hagia Sophia. This immersive experience delves into the Byzantine and Ottoman eras, taking visitors on a profound journey through the past. In the final exhibition hall, nearly 300 sacred artifacts, many of which are being displayed for the first time, are showcased. The Hagia Sophia History and Experience Museum has surpassed its global competitors to win these prestigious awards at the MUSE Creative Awards 2024.

The Ephesus Experience Museum, located within the Ancient City of Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been awarded first place in the “Attraction Innovation Award” category at the Arival Spotlight Awards 2024, an event held in San Diego that recognizes innovative solutions and crowns the success stories in the tourism industry. Our museum, which uses the latest visual and auditory technologies to allow visitors to relive the historical texture of Ephesus, has garnered great acclaim internationally.
